This month I seem to have gotten into a spend mode again. It turned cold and the kids both needed many items. Jeans, long sleeved shirts etc. This put me in spend mode. I did manage to pay on my bills, but didn't have much extra to shove at my debt this month. So to gear up for fall/winter and increased heating bills etc. I am declaring October a "no spend month" I am not sure how this will work, but I am vowing to use up items in my pantry and buy as little as possible at the store. I also would like to stash extra money away for Christmas presents. I would really like to not touch my savings money this year.
I have also found an abundance of fall treats to make for the family this year. This will keep snacks different but frugal. I have a stockpile of flour, sugar, and butter just waiting to be used. I will share recipes as I am able this next month. Hopefully, I will find some new family favorites. Pin It
